The ESV is getting a major upgrade... to its cross-references. Crossway has developed a new ESV Cross-Reference System designed to help readers see connections between biblical passages in more meaningful ways. In this video, I walk through the five different types of references included in the new system and explain what each type is designed to show. I'll also show you what this actually looks like on the page and explain why I think this new system is such an interesting development for anyone who enjoys studying the Bible.
And this isn't just a theoretical update—Crossway has several new ESV Bibles coming soon that will feature the new cross-reference system.
